Education Foundation

Big opportunities begin with a community that shows up.

03 OCT · 2026 Mustang Nights Merced Elks Park

Every student deserves more ways to discover what’s possible.

Local generosity becomes real experiences for McSwain students.

We raise funds for teacher-led grants, educational enrichment, school equipment, technology, and opportunities that extend beyond the school budget. Our annual dinner, dance, and auction raises the bulk of our working funds, which we aim to spend on students through teacher-initiated grants.

The Legacy Fund

Rooted here.
Growing forward.

The Legacy Fund is our endowment program. Original contributions remain invested for future growth, while the income helps fund direct expenditures and grants for McSwain students.

Gifts of $500 or more may honor a person, family, business, or organization and are recognized on the Legacy Fund plaque in the Charles Galatro Gymnasium and Performing Arts Center. Anonymous gifts are welcome.

Independent. Volunteer-led. Student-first.

We turn community support into educational opportunity.

The McSwain Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members. We work closely with McSwain School and the district while remaining an independent organization.

Our commitment is simple: invest community-raised dollars in projects that enhance learning but cannot be supported by the school budget.
